Black Ghost Dog

Posted on 21st December 2011 in Ghosts & Hauntings

This was about 2 years ago. I’m 14 now. I was staying at my fathers house for a while an me an my sister were sitting in the living room with my dog, (Roxie). An my dog was sleeping, an when she sleeps she is in a deep sleep. (she even snores). But anyway all of a sudden she lifted her head, her ears rotated an she looked around the room slowly until her gaze focused onto the front door. She growled an bared her teeth an started to charge at the door.

This scared me because Roxie NEVER “an I cant stress this enough”. NEVER acted this way, whether it was a person or a cat, dog or a wild animal. So I got up an I walked to the door an there staring into my glass door was a huge, black, Akita-type dog. It stared up at me with yellow eyes that shined in such a way that you could not even notice the pupil. Roxie was still going crazy but the dog didn’t even seem to notice her. It was to busy staring at me. Into my eyes.

I tried calling to my sister but my voice came out as a squeak. Roxie started jumping up onto the door but still this dog did not seem to notice her. I finally managed to call out to my sister. but wen I did the dog Bared its teeth once opened its mouth like it was going to growl an vanished slowly which seemed like in the shape of smoke or fog. (I have not seen this dog since)

A Loyal Pet

Posted on 21st February 2011 in Animals & Ghosts

When I was about 8, I had a dog. Her name was Tootsie. She was the most perfect dog in the world. She was loving, protective, and she would kill anyone who would try to hurt me and my family. Sadly, she died. Her body was gone… but her soul remained. I know this because I can sense when there is a spirit nearby. A sixth-sense if you will. Well, on with the story.

If you have ever lived in a bad neighborhood, you will understand this story much better. Anyway, one night I was fast asleep in my bed. I was awoken by the sound of something banging on the door. Tootsie, her usual spot to sleep was at the end of my bed. I knew that she was dead but I swore that I felt her laying there. Then she jumped off the bed, and began barking at the place the banging was coming from. Suddenly, the banging stopped. I felt her jump back on the bed in her usual spot. I reached down to pet her but my hand didn’t touch anything. I stared to cry, then I felt Tootsie stand up on the bed and lick my face, wiping away my tears. Tootsie, the most loyal dog I have ever had.

Domestic Dogs and Spirits

Posted on 9th October 2010 in Animals & Ghosts

I have read quite a few stories. I make the assumption that the authors of most of these stories are making a sincere effort to accurately report their encounters with spirits.

Having said all that, I want to relate the consequences of not protecting your pets.

One couple had a fairly large Rowdier they kept in a small cage in their backyard. This dog must have been very aggressive, relative to all the other stories I’ve read where most dogs are rightfully afraid of spirits, presumably evil.

This dog was in perfect condition, but overnight the dog was severely beaten, broken bones, lacerations, you name it, and died shortly afterward the next morning. The cage was still locked.

Had the dog not been caged, I’m sure it would have run and hid itself. But an animal that is cornered will fight to live, even if it fails.

My Aunts House

Posted on 24th May 2010 in Animals & Ghosts

My aunt is probably the coolest person you could ever know. She had a dog named Niko. That dog was a loving, sweet, adorable golden lab… lets just say she could never be a guard dog. Niko died quite awhile ago.

I was at my aunts house the other night and we were laughing and having a good time and all of a sudden, we hear the loudest scream/growl thing ever…almost dog like. We both jumped and looked around.

The sound itself sounded like it came from within the house. But the way it echoed seemed like it came from outside the house… I’m 14 years old and I have never heard anything like that in all my life. Niko was hit by a car and get this: it was the anniversary Niko died. Do you think that yelping scream might have been Niko letting us know he was still around?
